Hell freezes over? An FPGA company using Intel as foundry reaching production status.

Better late than never. Unfortunately Intel 22nm is more like a 26nm with FinFETs while Xilinx is shipping 20nm planar in high volumes already.
 
Intel is a good foundry if you want your products to be expensive and late to the market. Just ask Altera
 
FPGA companies live and die by design wins, so let's see what Achronix reports on their design wins. If they have tier one, high volume design wins, then success is possible.
