Google is extending the functionality of the smart phone into a personal assistant and this is just going to be the beginning. How long will it be until the phone does it all, from telling you your real time medical condition, to even becoming your work place? This would take the smart phone to a whole new level. The concept of a phone with wearables becoming your work place may soon become a reality. This would be the ultimate company to customer link, bypassing all the traditional layers of business and giving customers direct access to what they need. Imagine this applied not only to retail business, but commercial business. The number of options is unlimited as is the opportunities for the Semi/Mems sector. Comments and additions solicited and welcome. I feel this will be the next radical change for not only the tech sector, but business, education and social models. The options going forward are only limited by our imagination. The opportunities for the semi/mems sector are about to take another huge leap and those that don't will be left behind.
