SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CDNS) announced that Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work® have honored the company as one of the 2021 World’s Best Workplaces™ for the sixth time. This year, Cadence ranked 17. The 25 World’s Best Workplaces were selected from organizations that participated in Great Place to Work’s employee survey process, representing the voices of 19.8 million employees worldwide. These workplaces stood out for creating globally exceptional employee experiences, high-trust relationships and workplaces that are fair and equal for all.

Anirudh Devgan, president and incoming CEO of Cadence said, “The recognition is a testament to the hard work of our employees and our commitment to a One Cadence—One Team culture. Throughout the ever-changing and challenging nature of the pandemic, our team has remained focused and resilient. This award reflects the many Great Place to Work recognitions we have received globally, and I want to thank every employee for their determination as we accelerate innovation, delight our customers, support our communities and celebrate diversity.”

Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work said, “In a global workforce, alignment is everything, and these companies are fortifying their culture around the world—a nearly impossible feat. Even when tested by the pandemic, these companies recognize sub-communities in each region and their leaders carry an equitable employee experience across cultures. A huge congratulations to the World’s Best in 2021.”

Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in the world that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.
In 2021, Cadence also ranked as a Great Place to Work in Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and in the United States, where we received recognition as one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. Cadence received regional recognition as a Best Workplace in Asia and a Best Workplace in Europe.
