Sadly, the world is a rough and tumble place on all levels, and with our lives, finances, and occupations on the line, security must be front and center at all levels or the systems that run on them will become a dangerous no man's land where information, resources, and personal information can and are being misused at an ever-increasing rate, with ever-increasing dangers at every level. Security must now more than ever become a factor from inception on the design from the chip level on up and for software from inception. The cyber-world is rapidly extending its reach into every aspect of our lives as with transportation going autonomous as are more and more aspects of not only our daily lives but everything we come in contact with, both physical and virtual extending even to our personal and professional relationships. Security and stability must be major factors in almost all semis from the very conception of any project. War has changed and the cyber world has now become the most important battle field from real war to wars that manipulate only information and control systems. Any thoughts or comments on how to handle these issues are appreciated. As one who lives in the financial world, I can't ignore security has to be at the very foundation and inception of any and all systems since an entire ecosystem can only be as strong as its weakest link.
