Any thoughts on AI making progress on decisions and strategies?

Does anyone have any thoughts on when AI will make decisions and set strategies on inputs of raw data from sensors and data bases? If so what companies will be key in putting processors, sensors and communications into an ecosystem that develops conclusions and decisions? Also, any thoughts on a graph of what amount do decision making computers will take over in a given time frame? Interacting with people I feel will be very difficult for counting on people to be rational is a losing proposition. Any thoughts or comments appreciated and what companies will be the leaders in developing such applications.

Hi, I cannot see why this needs to be a separate ecosystem. AI is probability and statistics. Any device that will include some 'AI' processing will offer a 'best result' over some static data and non-smart sensory. In principle, it's optimization. Leaders, imo, will be any company that can shift focus away from the hype of AI and work on improving their real solutions by adding optimization where needed, feasible, secure, non-risk, and so on.
