All PLDA employees remain focused to serve customers and develop leading edge technology

100% of PLDA employees in Aix-en-Provence, Hsinchu, San Jose, Shanghai and Sofia are fully operational and are working remotely. For some activities that sometimes require an absolute presence at the office, such as administration and laboratory tasks, strict rules have been put in place to keep PLDA’s collaborators safe, along with their families and other people from our communities.

Obviously, it is not quite business as usual, but PLDA has been familiar, for a long time now, with a remote collaborative working environment : Thanks to a flexible enterprise culture, a great network infrastructure and multi-site worldwide management organisation, PLDA teams are used to work together from anywhere in the world.

Having said that, PLDA is continuing to focus on customers’ projects and PLDA’s teams are dedicated to providing the high quality of service and products expected by the semiconductor industry.

We are adapting to maintain and even improve the corporate values that drive the way we work:
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Innovation
  • Team Spirit
From R&D’s point of view, the Roadmap has not been modified and we are keeping our focus on PLDA main objectives. In the field, the Customer Support team is fully operational in US, EMEA, and APAC, while the Sales team is continuing to discuss future projects with prospects and customers. We’re also moving forward with hiring Engineers in France, Bulgaria, China, Japan and Taiwan.

We strongly believe it is not time to slow down PLDA activities as the demand in High speed interface and interconnects like PCIe, CXL and Gen-Z is there and will grow in the mid term. Although the semiconductor industry supply chain has slowed down for a few weeks now, we can expect the situation to recover over the summer, generating a high level of demand in a short period.

For this reason, we remain dedicated and determined to continue providing our customers with quality products and services, as well as contributing to raising the economy when this health crisis will be over. Many companies from the semicon industry are still working with most of their staff at home, keeping the investment pace and creating technology of tomorrow. PLDA is proud to be part of this industry and demonstrate confidence in the future.

We wish good health to you and those around you. Stay home, stay safe, and keep others safe.

The PLDA team
