Note that the 1980D immersion model had been in their portfolio already in 2015 (!), and was targeted for multi-patterning:

It is real a cat&mouse game it seems: no real source given for this "ASML" denial:

Remember that Zeiss Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology GmbH in Germany (25% owned by ASML) only makes products for ASML tools (see eg this movie: )

In the DUV talk from the ASML Investor day 2021 you can find most details about their immersion roadmap (this was before the US began pressing the Dutch Government/ASML on the immersion systems in Fall 2022) at that time. It has this slide:
The 2000- models are probably less suitable for use...
For EUV the supply line limitations (Zeiss) are an order of magnitude worse. I think that the last few EUV systems for shipment in 2024 (!) that were not officially ordered yet, when Q1-2023 numbers were presented last April, will probably be ordered at announcement of Q2-2023 numbers in July...
My two cents: since China is backing the Russians in their Ukraine/European war, the mood in Europe against China is getting worse. So ASML/Dutch Government has no "political capital" to fight US, that is badly needed for weapons for Ukraine war, that hard. But ASML is smart enough to make the...
Many questions on China at the web presentation of the Q4 results of ASML this morning by CEO&CFO. For now ASML seems to not be effected in sales. Demand is still very much larger than ASML's capacity. Guidance for 2023 is >25% growth.
Judge yourself by reviewing the webcast...
From listening to the introduction by CEO Peter Wennink of ASML at this weeks Q4/2021 presentation, it seems to me that the demand for pieces of the semiconductor pie will be so large the coming 10 years (growing to 1 trillion / year) that there is enormous need to grow the pie = for added...
My two cents: invest in your kids. We in NL seem to do, and some days those kids are grownups and may remember something from those boomers who raised them:

"ASML generated record sales and net income in 2017, helped by a strong fourth quarter. Due to industry strength, some customers requested earlier shipments of their lithography systems, which we were able to accommodate. Earlier-than-expected revenue recognition of two Extreme...

It seems EUV HVM will finally start in 2018 and the SPIE meeting will be discussing the present status and future prospects and issues. Many of the abstracts of the Extreme...
