  • Paul, I am Jim Fiebiger's son John. I would like to correspond with you if it is ok. You can reach me at artbasics@yahoo.com or 714-751-5453 or get all my info at http://artbasics.tripod,com

Anyone who was a friend of my Dad is a friend of mine. Any stories you could share with me that I could pass along to the family would be invaluable. We spread his ashes tonight on the ocean in front of his Newport Beach house that he loved so much. I can't believe he is gone. I honestly thought Dad was invincible. He loved his jobs and those he worked with. Should you need ANYTHING, just let me know.

    Love,
    John Fiebiger
Factually, you are right. However, look at the history of Intel. Anything not x86 is something they don't fund, and even if they buy it, they kill it. Think StrongARM (later XScale), DEC's Alpha and many others like it. So while it may make sense for Intel to get back into the ARM fray (and they to some degree are, through the acquisition of Infineon's Cell Phone processor business), even if they did it, they'd screw it up.
