Bart van Hezewijk
In my current role for the Dutch government at the Consulate-General of the Netherlands in Shanghai I help high tech companies and research institutes expanding to China and connect them to potential partners for innovation and R&D in China.
My previous position was director for Trade Compliance and International Government Relations for mainland China's largest foundry SMIC at the company's HQ in Shanghai.
Before I moved to China I worked for the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs' Directorate-General of International Affairs, being responsible for export controls policy and implementation. I was Head of Delegation for the Expert Group meetings and Chair of the Licensing and Enforcement Officers Meeting of the Wassenaar Arrangement.
