Arabinda DAS

Arabinda Das has more than fifteen years of R&D experience which includes both semiconductor industry and research organizations. He joined TechInsights in January 2009 as a senior process analyst.
Arabinda, in 1996 after completing his PhD in physics from the University of P-M Curie, Paris_VI, France, did several post-docs in various fields in different international organizations and then in 2001, joined IMEC research consortium in Belgium. At IMEC he was involved with backend Cu-Damascene and low-k materials. He did projects for IMEC’s industrial affiliation partners. Then in 2004, he joined Infineon-Qimonda in Germany as a development engineer for future technology nodes of memory. He has written and co-authored over fifty publications and is listed as inventor on some patents.

At TechInsights, Arabinda is involved in technical analysis of all semiconductor products, which include Si-based devices, memory devices, logic, and packaging. Over the last years, he has analyzed structurally memory products, logic devices and LEDs from all major manufacturers and supported litigation to major clients. As part of his regular work, he uses these technical reports to support intellectual property, to assess patents and define evidence of use requirements.

He likes to be involved in innovative technology development, business strategy, start-ups and inter-cultural organizations.
