Webinar: Modelling of Thermal Signatures from FEA and CFD Simulations

Thermal signature modelling is one of the most challenging steps on the EOIR mission simulation thread; depending on the materials it’s made of and the heat loads a target is exposed to, it will emit radiation at different rates withing the EM spectrum. This emissivity profile can be virtually modelled by connecting thermal and optical solvers to accurately simulate the target response from the EOIR system perspective.

Join us to learn how Ansys tools work together to simulate the target temperature field based on the mission conditions, model the spectral emissivity of the target and integrate it on the environment for EOIR mission level simulation; finally, those images could be integrated into an AI\ML framework for algorithm training purposes.
