Structural and Fluid Dynamics Simulation in Competition Prototypes
May 17, 2022

Increasingly, simulation is a reality for engineering professionals. Thinking about facilitating access to these tools from the university, ESSS created an unprecedented event aimed at students and the academic community.
In the workshop Structural and Fluid Dynamics Simulation in Competition Prototypes, you will understand in practice and in detail the step-by-step to develop structural analysis of a BAJA SAE model and fluid dynamic analysis of a Formula SAE prototype.
Participate, understand more about simulation and improve your technical skills in Ansys tools.
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE:
Members of competition teams, academics interested in computer simulation, engineering students.
SCHEDULE:
Tuesday, May 17, 2022
Fluid dynamics analysis: aerodynamic simulation for Formula SAE racing vehicle
Thursday, May 19, 2022
Structural Analysis: Structural Simulation for a BAJA SAE Model
PRESENTERS:

Jose Carlos Zart
Business Analyst, ESSS
Aerospace Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Santa Maria. He has been working in the academic area of ESSS since 2021, having as main functions the realization of technical presentations and support in the implementation of computer simulation technologies in Ibero-American universities.

Christian Baggio
CAE Applications Intern, ESSS
Graduating in Mechanical Engineering at UFSC, he is currently performing a professional internship at ESSS. He was a member of the Ampera Racing competition team, where he founded the area of Aerodynamics, developed knowledge in CFD in a self-taught way and participated in the finals in national and international competitions.
