Learn Criticality and Sustainability of Materials With the SusCritMat Project

SusCritMat is a European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) RawMaterials funded education project which develops teaching modules on critical raw materials and their sustainable management, taking into account the different perspectives as well as the entire value chain. This webinar will present interesting insights on criticality and sustainability assessments, as taught in the SusCritMat modules. The presented teaching materials will be freely available for download, so it is easy to learn more after the webinar, and/or use the contents further in the attendees’ own teaching assignments. Topics include:

• SusCritMat teaching materials for sustainable management of critical raw materials and where you can download them for free
• Assessment of the criticality of raw materials from different perspectives, and how a thorough market analysis is needed to assess criticality from specific perspectives
• A systemic approach to complex sustainability challenges; how Ansys Granta’s 5-step methodology can provide a framework and toolkit for a critical, independent discussion of the sustainability of products
