About this Webinar

In pre-processing workflows for CFD, high-quality mesh generation of complex geometries over a range of conditions can be a cumbersome and time-consuming process. Significant time can be spent generating large meshes with excessive refinement in non-key flow areas. This often leads to longer solve times and an elongated design process. In the second installment of our mini A&D webinar summer series, we will discuss how to increase productivity and efficiency through solution-driven mesh adaption. The Ansys adaption workflow allows users to focus on specific, impactful flow features to solve smaller, more efficient meshes with no cost to accuracy. This webinar will highlight the new GUI-based adaptation workflow, easy-to-use setup, and new pre-defined adaption criteria for external aerodynamic applications.

  • Learn solution-driven mesh adaption for A&D application.
  • Explore the new GUI-based adaption workflow.
  • Understand new pre-defined adaption criteria for external aerodynamics applications.
