About this Webinar

More than 90% of all goods we consume were, at some point during their lifecycle, in the particulate form. Gaining insight into the manufacturing processes of particles would enable engineers to reduce waste, improve product quality and uniformity, and enhance the performance and durability of equipment during operation.

Ansys Rocky uses the latest numerical methods to account for true particle shapes, including solids, shells and fibers — not only spheres. It features a multi-GPU solver designed to harvest the full potential of GPUs to handle a large number of particles, and a deep integration with Ansys tools (Ansys Mechanical, Ansys Fluent, Ansys Motion, etc.) that allows for multiphysics modeling.

Rocky is used across multiple industries to solve issues related to particle flowability and transport, mixing and separation efficiency, blockage, breakage, equipment wear, packaging, compaction, milling, crushing, polishing and so on. In this webinar, we will share Ansys Rocky’s capabilities along with examples of its application to industrial problems.

Speaker: Sravan Kumar Nallamothu, Lead Application Engineer, Pre-Sales Support, Ansys
