VDD gives design and layout engineers the power to quickly compare two versions of a schematic or layout by graphically highlighting the differences directly in the design editor. It has the option to ignore cosmetic changes so mere rearrangement or rerouting of wires will not be flagged. Users can also choose to invoke a hierarchical diff where all differences for the entire design hierarchy below the selected view will be flagged. You can export an HTML report of all the differences.
