Configuring a Proxy for HCL Verse High Availability

HCL Verse is a web-based corporate mail and calendar application that is often business critical. Both users and administrators expect Verse to be available 24×7. To achieve 24×7 availability, a high availability (HA) deployment is critical. In an HA deployment, Verse is deployed across multiple mirrored Domino servers so that if one is unavailable, users can be routed to another. This session first describes the benefits and requirements of an HA Verse deployment that leverages a proxy to distribute requests across the Domino servers. It then provides an overview of a case study using a F5 BIG-IP LTM virtual appliance as the proxy technology and both Multi-server LTPA SSO and single server sessions for Domino authentication.
