Challenges of vehicle NVH performance

Without the internal combustion engine to provide masking, road and wind noise have taken on new importance. New metrics to evaluate the previously masked tones of gear noise, understanding multi-source road noise, creating artificial sounds for minimal noise requirements, and other aspects of electric vehicle NVH performance will be presented and discussed.
