2023 Symposium on VLSI Technology and Circuits

June 11, 2023 - June 16, 2023

VLSI Symposium is an international conference on semiconductor technology and circuits that offers an opportunity to interact and synergize on topics spanning the range from process technology to system-on-chip.

2023 VLSI Symposium Theme

Rebooting Technology and Circuits for a Sustainable Future

We appreciate you to visit the VLSI symposium website. We also would like to invite you to join “2023 Symposium on VLSI technology and Circuits,” which will be held from Sunday, June 11 to Friday, June 16 at Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto in Japan. 2023 Symposium is planned as a fully in-person event in Kyoto for the first time in four years. On-demand access to technical papers will be available for people who cannot travel to Kyoto. We keep monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and will inform you any changes in the symposium program.

Last year, “Symposium on VLSI Technology” and “Symposium on VLSI Circuits” were merged together into one symposium, as “Symposium on VLSI Technology and Circuits” in order to strengthen the partnership among technology, circuits and system, especially in overlapped area. We strongly believe the symposium will continue to be one of the premier international conferences on semiconductor integrated circuits and microelectronics, covering a wide range of topics from industry and academia.

The 2023 VLSI Symposium Theme is “Rebooting Technology and Circuits for a Sustainable Future.” Although we are facing lots of issues such as energy crisis and pandemic in the world, we need to build up and keep sustainable society with disruptive innovation by semiconductor technology. It is absolutely VLSI community, who enables the sustainable future as the ultimate goal. Based on the symposium theme, we plan to have appealing contents, including plenary talks, panel discussions, focus sessions, forum, short courses, and workshops.

We would like you and your colleagues to submit the contributed papers in wide range of aspects in VLSI area by February 1.

And again, we look forward to seeing you in beautiful Kyoto, where you can visit seventeen historical interest spots registered as a World Heritage Site!

Yusuke Oike, Symposium Chair on Circuits
