About this Event

This webinar demonstrates the enhancements to Motor-CAD in 2022 R2. New capabilities include a high fidelity option for calculating efficiency maps and drive cycles for synchronous wound field machines, an enhancement to the NVH module including export to Ansys Sound, and new modern RPC automation for Motor-CAD through Python.

What you will learn

  • High fidelity synchronous machine lab model: The resolution of the model build in the lab module for synchronous machines can now be customized and defined by the user. This enables a high-fidelity efficiency map, torque/speed curve, and drive cycle calculations.
  • NVH Enhancements: Improved accuracy and calibration capability to the NVH solution in Motor-CAD. Using the export to Ansys Sound, the acoustic sound generated by the motor can be heard and played back.
  • RPC automation for Motor-CAD: Allows control over automated Motor-CAD instances distributed and controlled on remote machines and provides improved error handling when scripting.

Who Should Attend

  • current Motor-CAD users
